The future of mobility is electric, digitally networked and autonomous. While companies from the USA and China are making rapid progress, Europe is threatening to lose ground in the new core mobility disciplines. The newly founded Cosmic Cat Group specializes in the conception, development and expansion of agile organizations and business models ranging from electric mobility to autonomous driving. In addition to founder Thomas Daiber, Cosmic Cat Group already has on board a number of further well-known industry leaders such as Sebastian Crusius, co-founder of Global Electric Club, Dr. Tom Sieber, former Vice President New Business at Webasto.

After years of initial difficulties, electric mobility is regarded as the basic technology for the upcoming transformation of mobility. With multi-billion-dollar investments and long delays, the traditional automotive industry has officially begun to catch up with competition from the US and China. Simultaneously, the digitization and automation of traffic is already starting to herald an even greater paradigm shift. The vehicle changes from an emotional property to a mobile piece of hardware of a digitally networked service world. According to studies, latest when cars will move through our cities without any emissions or drivers, we will only need a fraction of the vehicles on our roads. However, between 2010 and 2018, only 5% of global investment in new mobility was made in Europe, while China and the US alone account for almost 70% of nearly $200 billion. Only 7 of 44 mobility unicorns worldwide come from Europe, 27 alone from the United States and the China.

"With Cosmic Cat, we are providing reconstruction aid to infect the mobility industry with new entrepreneurial spirit. We see the rapid development of technology as a great opportunity for emission-free transport and livable cities. Our strategy house and venture builder will be a new haunt for like-minded business leaders. "

commented, Thomas Daiber, who was previously CEO of the joint venture Hubject, an international consortium of industrial companies such as Volkswagen, BMW, Siemens, Bosch and Enel X.

Automotive companies and a whole supplier industry are faced with the mammoth task of reinventing themselves and their products. In addition to the acquisition of new core competencies in the areas of software, big data, sensor technology and energy, speed and sustainable cultural change are particularly in demand. This is where Cosmic Cat and its team of co-entrepreneurs and mobility specialists come in. The company has chosen Berlin's "Drivery" as its main location, a unique hub for mobility innovations. As the first result of the venture builder, the first venture created by Cosmic Cat will also be presented on October 15.
