Meet the heads behind Mobility 4.0

Our founder Thomas Daiber and his long-time companion in EV charging entrepreneurship, Jacob van Zonneveld, sat down to discuss their journeys from rural villages to mobility entrepreneurs in Berlin. Jacob was the co-founder and CEO of Plugsurfing, a two-person garage startup that became one of the largest e-mobility service providers in Europe. The company was acquired by the Finnish energy company Fortum in 2018.

For the last year, he’s been working as the co-founder and managing director of DeftPower, an AI-supported SaaS platform for EV charging. The conversation with Jacob followed his path from rural sports star to concerned global citizen, and finally founding, running, and selling one of Europe’s most successful EV charging companies.
