Pilot study and theses to support your e-mobility product development

Sharpened understanding about the User Journey at public charging stations

The german Nationale Leitstelle Ladeinfrastruktur (National Control Center for Charging Infrastructure), founded in January 2020, focuses on the satisfaction of users of electric vehicles as key driver to charging infrastructure expansion. To this end, the thesis paper "Einfach laden" ("Simply charge") was developed within the framework of a pilot study and intensive industry dialogue.

The video below neatly packs the core thesis of the developed guideline. You might want to watch it directly on youtube with 2x speed.

A well suited document to transfer the perspective of politics and customers to your product or business model.

Broken down into multiple chapters, the user journey for charging your electric car now and in 2025 describes what should be improved. It’s a rather nice read with the user experience central, instead of technical or administrative developments. The guideline holds the potential to function as an example for a range of European countries, yet is currently available in German only. We’ve heard the English version is in the making, though.
